About Mallori
A look into her process and intention.
From an early age, I was spirited, persistent, and fiercely independent
— qualities that have given me a deep sense of understanding and compassion, especially for teens.
MY PASSION
The teenage years are some of the most challenging and transformative, filled with complex dynamics and emotions. I’ve always felt a strong connection to this stage of life, and I am passionate about supporting teens as they navigate these pivotal years.
In 2010, my life took an unexpected turn when I experienced the loss of my fiancé and the father of my child. This profound loss shaped my personal journey and propelled me into higher education, where I discovered my calling in social work. Through my own experiences of trauma and healing, I developed a deep empathy for others facing their own hardships, which I now bring to my practice.
SCHOOLING & LIFE
Social work became a natural extension of my desire to walk alongside others and listen to their sacred stories. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in social work at The College of St. Scholastica, in 2011 and later completed my Master’s degree in 2017 at the University of St. Thomas.
As I raised my family, I became passionate about disability rights, especially after my oldest son was diagnosed with Autism. My personal experiences have deepened my understanding of the struggles and barriers faced by neurodiverse individuals, particularly in educational settings and transitioning to adulthood.

MY SENSE OF PURPOSE
I am deeply passionate about working with women, or people who identify as women. Women face unique societal pressures—balancing expectations of appearance, career, motherhood, and relationships, all while navigating the unspoken rules about how to be and what to strive for. These pressures can feel contradictory and overwhelming, and I understand how difficult it can be to feel like you’re constantly falling short, no matter how hard you try.
As someone who empathizes deeply with these challenges, I feel a strong sense of purpose in walking alongside women and those who relate with the feminine experience as they work to untangle these contradictions and reclaim their sense of self. I help women reconnect with their inner beauty and strength, supporting them through life’s transitions with compassion and understanding.
DEEP SELF-DISCOVERY
In 2023, I completed my Doctorate in Social Work at the University of St. Thomas, a milestone year that also brought a life-altering revelation.
Through a genetic test, I discovered that the man who raised me was not my biological father. This discovery challenged and expanded my understanding of family and identity, presenting both profound challenges and moments of deep self-discovery and joy. It led me to appreciate the importance of knowing our ancestry—the roots from which we come—and the transformative, healing power of understanding our lineage. This journey has shown me how deeply ancestral knowledge can impact our body-mind connection, helping us reclaim parts of ourselves and find a renewed sense of wholeness.
I started Moonflower to create a space where whole-body healing can truly thrive. My approach integrates deep knowledge from our ancestral and childhood influences to help us better understand our present body-mind experience. Through Moonflower, I aim to support the healing of past traumas and narratives, helping each person embrace their present and find hope for the future. Here, multiple approaches and modalities intersect, offering a sanctuary for genuine, whole-body transformation.
